This year's RCJA Australian Open will be held at The University of Tasmania on the weekend of the 24th and 25th of September.
 

Where to start

Well if you are reading this, you are at the right place. This site has information to get you started. You will find information on how to compete in all the events in RoboCup Junior in event webpages. In the Resource Centre you find tips for your robots and constructing equipment. Rescue and Soccer have their own resource pages. If you would like some 'hands on' help, volunteers will come out to your school and give you a hand. There are also opportunities to attend workshops. These are run on a demand basis so if you are interested please contact us.

These will be announced in Term 4, 2011.

“Canberra Robotics Workshop and Conference"

On Thursday November 17^th  from 2pm until 4pm, Dickson College will be holding the annual Canberra Robotics Conference and Workshop. This short conference will be primarily aimed at teachers who are interested in using robotics as a tool to teach curriculum at their schools. Primary, high school, college, TAFE and university instructors and students are  all welcome. There will be information setting up robotics programs at your school, expanding your existing robotics program and the opportunity to share knowledge with colleagues at the conference. There will be a wide range of subjects covered including type of robotic platforms, development setups, competitions, career information for students, hands on workshops, future trends in robotics and robot displays from industry.  There will even be great draw prizes for robotic equipment
