The University of Queensland has been providing workshops aimed at engaging students in analytical and creative thinking as well as practical problem solving through robotics for over 5 years. At UQ the tutors are world-class experts in the field of robotics and were 1st in the world in the soccer competition, at the International Robocup Junior Championships  held in Germany in 2006. 

The University of Queensland is now offering in-service robotics workshops for teachers keen to support their students.

The workshops aim to enhance and incorporate analytical and problem solving skills through the Science and Mathematics curriculum and provide a project based activity that can be used as part of the new Technology curriculum.
