Workshop Resources

Our workshops are designed to give a broad base to the knowledge and skills required for RoboCupJunior, our workshops do not target a particular RoboCupJunior Challenge.

The Workshop Robot
To help teach concepts in robotics and programming we have developed a robot that is simple to build, uses lots of the pieces found in the Lego Team Challenge sets, and can stand up to the rigour of the workshops. The robot is specifically designed to be to big for any of the RoboCupJunior Challenges, but contain techniques that can be used to make structurally sound robots.

The Workshop Maze
One of the priorities in our worksheets is to give students and understanding on the sensor used in robotics. The maze is used by students to test and expand their knowledge gained in the workshops. Because of the modular nature of the maze, no two mazes are a like. Mazes can be a simple as single line or a loop, to more complex layouts containing dead ends and intersections. The participants tend to modify the layouts to suit their skill levels.
