Welcome to RoboCupJunior ACT
Build, Make, Invent, Learn and most of all, Have Fun!
I would like to thankyou for visiting the home of RoboCupJunior ACT.
This year we are looking forward to helping expand robotics education and opportunities for students to learn about engineering and programming by continuing our competition and expanding to more workshops and events. Stay tuned for some more info coming soon!
We would like to thank our ACT supporters SFX for their continued support. Without their support we would not be able to bring you such a sensational event each year.
The 2019 Event will be on again in September (see below). Registrations will open closer to the date (June). The event is open to all school students.
Good Luck to all the teams for 2019. See you at the competition! For more information please see our event page.

RCJA Canberra Melbourne Nationals Road Trip!
We're travelling down to Melbourne again for Nationals this year and we'd love for you to come along!
We'll be travelling by bus and staying at Urban Camp Melbourne: https://www.urbancamp.org.au and have the entire camp site booked out for Robocup! The cost is approx $350 which covers the bus trip, accomodation and also breakfast, lunch and dinner while at the accomodation (they'll be putting together lunch boxes for each student for the competition days and can cater for a variety of dietary needs)
If you're interested in coming along, please fill out the form at this link: https://forms.gle/7pWiPWh8BN4E8oAh9 and we'll be in contact asap. Parents are more than welcome to come along, and we can make arrangements with School Principal's to share duty of care amongst all the travelling teachers.
RCJA Canberra Regional Event
When: 6th and 7th of September
Where: Saint Francis Xavier College, Florey ACT
Where to start
Well if you are reading this, you are at the right place. This site has information to get you started. You will find information on how to compete in all the events in RoboCup Junior in event webpages. In the Resource Centre you find tips for your robots and constructing equipment. If you would like some 'hands on' help, volunteers will come out to your school and give you a hand. There are also opportunities to attend workshops. These are run on a demand basis so if you are interested please contact us.
The ACT competition is coordinated by a dedicated but small team of volunteers. If you would like to volunteer or would like to enter this years competition and don’t know where to start we would appreciate hearing from you. We aim to make this competition as much fun as possible for all children and we are grateful for the support of interested parents and teachers.
