NSW 2021 State Competition postponed, workshop details

2

After our successful Spike PRIME competition, we have been busy planning out our NSW State Competition, to be run at the Holy Cross College in Ryde.

Due to the current situation, we will have postponed our competition. We will be running either a face-to-face or virtual State Competition in early December 2021. In the meantime, we will be running some virtual workshops in preparation for the State Competition.

Our workshop is going ahead on the 31st of July at 2 – 3:30pm via Zoom:

  • For teachers and students new to RoboCup Junior or interested in the State Competition
  • Breakout rooms will cover:
    • Rescue Line, Rescue Maze, OnStage, Soccer
    • Spike Prime – where to next, Soccer Simulator, General Q&A
  • Spike Prime – where to next is a session for any Spike Prime competitors to get feedback and suggestions on how to compete in other RoboCup Junior challenges.

Register for our workshop here: https://enter.robocupjunior.org.au/events/79 (you should register multiple times for each division you are interested in attending).

Hi , Sorry just to clarify – is the Spike Prime workshop only for the competitors ?
Just not sure which workshop to register for as a teacher wanting to know more about the On Stage competition and entering SPIKE Prime in this ? Which workshop would be best for me to attend if new .
    Thanks 🙂

Hey there – it is available for all students and teachers! You can choose to attend both ‘On Stage’ and ‘Spike Prime’ sessions. All our sessions we’re running are beginner friendly.
